International Internship Program

Our international internship program has been continuously improved and developed, in order to meet the increasing demand from the organizations of a professionally delivered program. Our online global data-base ensures rigorous searching of candidates and precise selection according to the needs and requirements of each organization.

AIESEC is the leading platform for young people to develop and discover their leadership potential to have a positive impact in society. The centrepiece of the AIESEC experience is our internship program (or the Work Abroad program)  that gives young people an excellent opportunity to work in a foreign organisation. Annually  more than 8 000 young students, recent graduates get international working experience through AIESEC.

Through this programme, AIESEC provides organizations around the globe access to our diverse international talent and perspectives coming from the widespread network of AIESEC.

6 steps of employing AIESEC interns

1. Contact AIESEC Tampere in order to discuss more about the opportunites our international internship program offers for your company.
2. After agreeing to take a intern through AIESEC's international internship program, define the selection criteria and job description for the interns together with AIESEC Tampere representative. Make sure the job description is as detailed and attractive as possible.
   
3. AIESEC finds you most suitable candidates of which you will select the best ones.
   
4. AIESEC takes care of the practical matters and prepares the interns for coming to Finland.
   
5. AIESEC welcomes the interns and takes care of the social activities after working hours.
   
6. Together with the organization and the interns we continuously evaluate the internships so that they are the best possible learning opportunity for both sides

Scope: 107 countries

Main fields of work: Business and Economic sciences, Education, Information Technology, Developmental and Organizational Work.

Availability: Throughout the year.

Delivery time: 1-3 months.

Length of internship: 2-18 months.

Costs: AIESEC administrative fee: 1200€ / internship. For an NGO and governmental institutions the administrative fee is 600€ / internship.Recommended minimum salary: 1200€
